VIII. Executive Session: Executive session will be held for purposes permitted by Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Section 551.001 et seq.
A. Private consultation with the Board's attorney on all subjects or matters authorized by law (Tex. Govt. Code Sec. 551.071: Discussing pending/contemplated litigation, settlement offer(s), or matters, concerning privileged and unprivileged client information deemed confidential by Rule 1.05 of the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct)
B. Consider Board approval of personnel matters as recommended by the Administration, including Area Director (Tex. Govt. Code Sec. 551.074: Deliberating the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment duties, discipline, or dismissal of an elected officer or employee)
C. Pursuant to Texas Government Code Sections 551.074 and 551.071, to deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee, and to consult with the District's attorney on a matter in which the duty of the attorney to the District under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with Chapter 551 of the Texas Government Code, specifically regarding a recommendation to send notice of proposed termination of a term contract employee, Amber Catena, for good cause.
D. Discuss Superintendent's Annual Formative Goals and Objectives (Tex. Govt. Code Sec. 551.074: Deliberating the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment duties, discipline, or dismissal of an elected officer or employee)
