WE'RE LOOKING AT THE GRASS SPACE RIGHT NOW, THE PRACTICE FIELD THE GRASS PRACTICE FIELD THE DESIGN THAT WE'RE SHOWING IS TO HAVE THE INDOOR PRACTICE FIELD AND THE, UM, FIELD HOUSE.

THE FIELD HOUSE WILL ACTUALLY FACE THESE EXISTING BUILDINGS.

AND YOU SEE HERE, WHICH IS THE WEIGHT ROOM AND A LOCKER ROOM THIS SIDE, THERE'S THERE'S SO RIGHT NOW WE'RE DISCUSSING THERE'S TWO OPTIONS THAT WE'RE LOOKING AT WHERE WE CAN ACTUALLY PLACE THIS.

ONE OF THE PLACE WE'RE LOOKING AT PLACING THE MAC CLOSER TO THE STREET SIDE TO GIVE THE GREEN SPACE HERE FOR THE FIELD EVENTS, FOR THE STADIUM SO THAT THE STADIUM CAN STILL HAVE ALL OF THEIR FIELD EVENTS.

IF WE PUT IT IN THE CENTER, THEN WE WILL LOSE THE ABILITY TO HAVE THE FIELD EVENTS.

SO WE WANT TO SLIDE IT TO THE SIDE.

THE DISCUSSIONS THAT WE'RE HAVING RIGHT NOW WITH THE DESIGN TEAM IS IT WILL FIT IN THE GRASS SPACE.

THE FIELD HOUSE WILL HAVE ITS OWN WEIGHT ROOM, MUCH LARGER THAN THAT WEIGHT ROOM.

THAT WEIGHT ROOM THERE IS A 3,000 SQUARE FOOT WEIGHT ROOM.

THE WEIGHT ROOM THAT WILL BE IN THE MAC WILL BE LARGER THAN THAT.

SO THE DISCUSSIONS THAT WE'RE HAVING IS WHERE IT'S LOCATED.

ONE OF THE THINGS THAT WE HAVE TODAY, IF YOU LOOK AT HOW THE HOW THE STADIUM ITSELF FUNCTIONS, THE STADIUM ITSELF TODAY HAS IT

DOES NOT HAVE A FIELD HOUSE DEDICATED TO THE STADIUM.

SO WHEN OUR PLAYERS PLAY HERE, WHEN OUR TWO SCHOOLS, ROWLETT AND SACHSE, IF THEY PLAY HERE, THEY HAVE TO UTILIZE THIS LOCKER ROOM THAT YOU SEE HERE, WHICH IS ACTUALLY THE GIRLS LOCKER ROOM FOR GARLAND HIGH SCHOOL.

SO TODAY THE GIRLS HAVE TO VACATE THAT DURING A FOOTBALL GAME.

THEY HAVE TO REMOVE THEIR ITEMS SO THE FOOTBALL PLAYERS CAN USE THAT DURING THE FOOTBALL GAME AND THEN THEY CAN MOVE THEIR STUFF BACK IN.

THE GOAL WOULD BE TO KEEP THE MOST RECENT BUILDING FOR THE FIELD HOUSE AND TO UTILIZE THAT SPACE AS A DESIGNATED SPACE FOR THE STADIUM.

SO THAT WAY WE NO LONGER HAVE THE GIRLS BEING REMOVED FROM THEIR LOCATION.

IT GIVES THE STADIUM ITS OWN SEPARATE FIELD HOUSE AND IT GIVES GARLAND HIGH SCHOOL ITS OWN SEPARATE FIELD HOUSE FOR THEIR FOR THEIR PURPOSE.

WE COULD USE THIS WHOLE FLAT AREA, THIS CONCRETE AND THAT THAT AREA WHERE THOSE BUILDINGS ARE.

WELL, THE FLAT SPACE HERE, YOU NEED SOME SEPARATION BETWEEN THESE TWO BECAUSE WE'VE GOT DURING THE GAME, THERE'S QUITE A BIT OF EQUIPMENT THAT GETS MOVED IN AND OUT OF THIS SPACE. SO WE DO HAVE SOME SOME LARGE EQUIPMENT THAT GETS PULLED IN, BIG SEMIS AND STUFF.

SO WE NEED THAT SPACE THERE.

SO WE DON'T WANT TO ENCROACH ON THAT SPACE.

SO THE THE MAC ITSELF IS AT TWO FUNCTIONS TO IT.

THE FIRST PIECE IS THE THE FIELD HOUSE, WHICH WILL SERVE LOCKER ROOMS, VIDEOS, VIDEO ROOMS, INSTRUCTION ROOMS FOR FOR THE STUDENTS.

IT WILL ALSO HAVE A LAUNDRY ROOM IN IT.

IT WILL HAVE A WEIGHT ROOM.

IT WILL HAVE TRAINING ROOM FOR OUR STUDENTS.

SO IT'S REALLY FUNCTION AS A PART OF THE SCHOOL PRACTICE FACILITY.

IT'S A PRACTICE FACILITY.

ANY PERFORMANCES, ANY GAMES [INAUDIBLE] INSIDE THE MAC? THERE IS NO INTENT TO USE IT AS A PERFORMANCE VENUE.

SO IS THERE ENOUGH PARKING THEN ON THE STREET TO TO ACCOMMODATE THE KIDS OR WHATEVER? WHERE ARE THE KIDS GOING TO PARK? RIGHT HERE. SO WE HAVE OVER THERE.

YEAH. AND THEY'LL JUST WALK THROUGH TO THERE.

SO YOU'LL TYPICALLY SEE THE THE FIRST LEVEL IS LOCKER ROOMS FOR BASEBALL.

SOFTBALL, BOYS AND GIRLS AREAS ARE TYPICALLY ON THE ON THE FIRST FLOOR LOCKER ROOMS. ON THE SECOND FLOOR LOCKER ROOMS IS WHERE YOU'LL SEE YOUR FOOTBALL LOCKER ROOMS, FRESHMAN JV VARSITY THOSE CAPTURE ON THE SECOND FLOOR.

THEN THE SECOND FLOOR ALSO YOU'LL TYPICALLY SEE YOUR STORAGE STORAGE AREAS IS ANOTHER THING THAT YOU'LL SEE THERE.

YOUR LAUNDRY ROOMS ARE TYPICALLY ON THE FIRST FLOOR, BUT THEY CAN BE MOVED TO THE SECOND FLOOR.

JUST DEPENDS ON THE DESIGN WE LOOK AT.

BUT A LOT OF THE OPEN SPACE WHERE YOU'RE DOING INSTRUCTION.

SO WE'LL HAVE CLASSROOMS ON THE SECOND AREA AS WELL TO SERVE THE STUDENTS.

SO SO THERE'S DESIGNATED SO THE BUILDING ITSELF WILL BE USED FOR LOCKER ROOMS ON THE FIRST FLOOR FOR DESIGNATED PROGRAMS AND LOCKER ROOMS ON THE SECOND FLOOR FOR THE FOR THE FOOTBALL PROGRAM. AND THEN WILL ALL FIELD HOUSES HAVE THAT SAME CONFIGURATION.

IS THAT THE PLAN? YES, THE INTENT IS TO USE THE SAME CONFIGURATION FOR EVERY SINGLE FIELD HOUSE.

EVERY CAMPUS WILL HAVE A UTILIZATION SCHEDULE, PART OF THEIR MASTER SCHEDULE THAT THEY WILL USE, THAT THEY WILL USE THIS FACILITY, THEY'LL ENCOMPASS THIS AS THEY USE ALL OF THEIR OTHER BUILDINGS WITHIN THEIR MASTER SCHEDULE.
